The Dark Crystal

I wanted to draw something from The Dark Crystal since I love the movie. But none of the images on the internet satisfied me... Jem either looked stupid, or Kira looked insane. So I chose instead to combine many pictures until I got the basic idea of what I wanted to draw.

I admit it was a temptation to put her wings in the picture, but I decided against it. In the majority of the movie you never see them, so I thought it would be a bit... awkward (besides, EVERYONE who does a Dark Crystal picture slaps those wings on).

2B/7B pencil. 6.5 x 5 inches. Why oh WHY did I draw this on sketch paper?! Word of advice: never draw anything on acidic, poor quality paper. NEVER.
