White fish

Here's some more practice painting in Photoshop. Yes, I know it is horribly flawed and that many areas look very frightening. I don't care anymore, however. I spent all day on this thing! The only reason the coloring is somewhat okay is because I relied on PrincessElemmiriel's colored version to show me where to place the hues and so forth (thank you!).

Here's a WIP version before I found it necessary to lighten her skin. Her hair is just too light colored to have the original darker skin: [link]

EDIT: Okay, it's slightly less frightening now. I darkened the lines somewhat--so it looks a little better. Apparently I'm not yet talented enough to get rid of the lines entirely. ...oh well. At any rate, it looks better than it did.

Also, enough people are saying "no, that actually looks good" to make me say this statement: Well, yes, so far this is my best Photoshop painting. I like it, and it's the best I've done so far--I just know that I can improve an awful lot ...That's all.
